Welcome to St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church! We are a small church located in Hope Valley, RI.
Saint Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, Canonchet RI, bordering on the eastern Connecticut state line, is located in the town of Hopkinton, RI, which is comprised of the quaint New England villages of Canonchet, Hope Valley, Hopkinton City and Ashaway. Canonchet is a rural, pastoral setting nestled among the trees and stone walls of the quiet countryside, yet, less than fifteen miles from the ocean where one can enjoy some of the finest beaches in the world. The woodlands are dotted with small freshwater ponds that are ideal for fishing and canoeing. Many hiking trails are carved through the forests where hikers can delight in the views of the stately hemlocks and giant rhododendrons. We are thirty minutes from T.F. Green airport, thirty-five minutes from Providence, less than 2 hours from Boston and 2 1/2 hours from Mid-Town Manhattan. Amtrak service is available in our neighboring towns of Kingston and Westerly. As a parish family, we remain committed to sharing God”s love for all his people.
Saint Elizabeth”s provides an opportunity for worship and Christian fellowship serving the needs of individuals and families within the community.
